Iskenderun Port Capacity Expansion

Iskenderun Port, owned and operated by Turkish State Railways (TCDD) has been undergone a bid tendered by the Prime Ministry Privatization Administration for the purpose of its privatization which was awarded to Limak by the official decision dated 7 July 2011. Within the scope of the privatization, the capacity of the Iskenderun Port will be increased. 

Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Study was undertaken related to the capacity expansion. As part of the ESIA process, Project information documents have been prepared and opened to public. The documents that were updated considering the construction and operation process are given below: 

Disclosure of information here is apart of the  Stakeholder Engagement Plan prepared for the Project. If you would like to be informed on how the stakeholders (any party who is interested in and/or affected by the Project and/or its impacts) will be consulted during the ESIA phase and the subsequent phases of the Project, you can reach the details in the Stakeholder Engagement Plan by clicking here. 

Any public comment, suggestion and/or complaint can be sent by using “Complaint and Comment System” within the scope of Integrated Management System.
